How to transfer a domain

1. Unlock the domain at the current registrar.
2. Turn off WHOIS privacy if it blocks emails.
3. Get the EPP / auth code.
4. The domain must be older than 60 days.
5. Start the transfer at the new registrar and approve the email.

Transfers take about 5–7 days. Your site keeps working if nameservers stay the same.
